Nicole has been married to Warren for over 23 years. They have 3 teenagers at home: Will, Klara, and Adam. She is thankful that the Lord gives her flexibility in organizing her days during this season of being “at home.” She occasionally substitute teaches at her kids’ school. Often you will find her running a forgotten lunch to school, trying to conquer laundry & dishes, walking their 1 one year old cockapoo, or grocery shopping since their 2 teen boys seem to never get full. She loves to study God’s Word. She co-leads a Moms in Prayer group at her kids’ school. She is coordinator of HEART Ministry at Bethany, an infant loss ministry. Her evenings are often spent watching their teens play soccer, volleyball, basketball, or run track. One area of ministry to which the Lord has brought her is supporting women and families whom the Lord puts on her path who are in a time of suffering. Sometimes it’s a mom grieving the loss of a baby. Other times it’s a friend or someone new the Lord puts on her path who is going through a variety of life situations which brings suffering. She can see how the Lord started planting a heart in her for helping others early in her life as a child. The losses she and her husband experienced early in their marriage brought forth the Lord’s equipping her to better minister to the hurting. She’s thankful to be here to talk about the subject of how to help the suffering and is still learning and growing in this area of friendship.
