Discussion Questions

What disadvantages do riches bring to a person’s life?  Why is it important for us to think about the disadvantages of riches? 

What specific temptations of covetousness tempt you away from God? How do we overcome the temptation toward covetousness when we live in such a wealthy society?

Why is conversion require a miracle of Jesus? Does conversion always bring about major changes of life?  Why or why not?

What changes do you experience in your way of life as the result of the miracle of conversion?  What changes are still “in process”?

What was Jesus’ mission on the earth?  How does this inform us regarding the mission of Jesus’ church? What distractions might hinder the church from fulfilling the mission of Jesus?   What might help us to fulfill the mission of Jesus?

Congregational Meeting

We will be voting on the by-law changes at the upcoming congregational meeting on September 25th. These changes have been previously communicated, however you can view the original by-laws as well as the upcoming changes with the links below. We will also be voting to affirm elder candidates Isaac Downing & Dan wilton.
