MEAL MINISTRY
COMPASSION MEALS

To serve your church family, would you consider providing a meal? After surgery, a new baby or even when a spouse is deployed with the military, it’s often a huge blessing to not have to worry about “what’s for dinner?” If you would like to be added to the meal train list, please
contact Katie Altorfer at kames14@gmail.com.

BETTER TOGETHER
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS | 6:00pm

Few occasions present us with such impactful opportunities & challenges as the holidays. We’ll spend three weeks in December considering some ways followers of Jesus can ready themselves to make the most of the Christmas season.

  • Unique Spiritual Challenges Around Holidays

Better Together will meet in the Prayer Room during the month of December.

SERMON NOTES

RETURN TO HOPE
The Good Shepherd Rejected

Zechariah 11:1-17
Dr. Ritch Boerckel

  • The Messiah will save His people Israel.
  • The Messiah will be rejected.
  • The Messiah will give the people to false shepherds.
  • The Messiah will rule over the whole world.

discussion questions

  • How does God’s persistent faithfulness to Israel encourage you in your life with God?
  • Why are we so susceptible to following false shepherds? How can we avoid this?
  • Why is mankind prone to reject the Messiah? How can the church be used to help those who are rejecting the Messiah?
  • What priorities in your life would reflect that you treasure the Messiah? Explain with specifics.
