Join us for Lakeside Worship this Sunday at 8:30am! Please dress comfortably for the weather (shorts, hats, etc.), bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating, and join us beside the lake for this outdoor worship service.

If you would like to sit indoors during the service, the sanctuary is available! You can watch the livestream of the worship service on the screens while seated inside. Please observe social distancing and follow the guidance of the ushers. Masks are available.

In the event of rain, we will move our worship service indoors at 8:30am & 10:30am.

WELCOME!

Bethany is a church family following Jesus together.

We sing His praises. We pray in His name. We teach His Word. We love His people. We share His message. All this and more we do together because THERE IS NONE LIKE HIM.

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years or are just getting started, we hope today you experience the good news of Jesus and discover how to take the next step on the path of following Him.

  • Ladies Bible Studies:  This fall, BBC will offer several options on different days and at different times to fit your unique needs. Some groups will meet in person, with provisions for health safety and social distancing. Others will meet online. We hope, despite the limitations that Covid-19 presents, that Jesus’ name will be lifted high and that our women will be able to fellowship and grow in the faith. Join us! Register at here.

  • The Table:  Ladies, sign up today for this women’s ministry that seeks to cultivate gospel-centered community among the women at Bethany through small, one-time, informal gatherings. The goal is for each group to have about 8-10 women of different ages, life stages, and backgrounds getting together for a time to laugh, chat, and make new friends. Each Table is unique because the hostesses of each Table plan their own gathering.  Sign up for The Table online at myBethany or by contacting the church office (309-692-1755).

  • CHILDREN’S MINISTRY RESOURCES:  Each week our children’s ministry team provides a video lesson and resources so you can have Sunday School at home! Don’t miss this week’s Ranger Danger episode! Find this week’s resources here.

  • CARE CENTRAL: Get Help | Give Help – It’s in times of crisis that Gospel love often shines brightest. SONG LYRICS

Praise To  The Lord (Joyful Joyful)

Praise to the Lord,
The Almighty, the King of Creation
O my soul, praise Him,
For He is your health and salvation
Come all who hear, Now to His temple draw near
Join me in glad adoration

Praise to the Lord,
Above all things so wondrously reigning
Shelters thee under His wings
And so gently sustaining
Have you not seen all that is needful has been
Sent by His gracious ordaining

Praise to the Lord,
Who will prosper Your work and defend you
Surely His goodness
And mercy shall daily attend you
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do
If with His love He befriends you

Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee
God of glory, Lord of love
Hearts unfold life flowers before Thee
Op’ning to the sun above

Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee
God of glory, Lord of love
Hearts unfold life flowers before Thee
Op’ning to the sun above

Praise to the Lord,
O let all that is in me adore Him
All that has life and breath
Come now with praises before Him
Let the amen sound from His people again
Gladly forever adore Him

Revive Us Again

We praise Thee O God
For the Son of Thy love
For Jesus who died
And is now gone above

Hallelujah Thine the glory
Hallelujah amen
Hallelujah Thine the glory
Revive us again

We praise Thee O God
For Thy Spirit of light
Who has shown us our Savior
And scattered our night

Hallelujah Thine the glory
Hallelujah amen
Hallelujah Thine the glory
Revive us again

All glory and praise
To the Lamb that was slain
Who has borne all our sins
And has cleansed every stain

Hallelujah Thine the glory
Hallelujah amen
Hallelujah Thine the glory
Revive us again

Revive us again
Fill each heart with Thy love
May each soul be rekindled
With fire from above

Hallelujah Thine the glory
Hallelujah amen
Hallelujah Thine the glory
Revive us again

At The Cross (Love Ran Red)

There’s a place
Where mercy reigns and never dies
There’s a place
Where streams of grace flow deep and wide
Where all the love I’ve ever found
Comes like a flood comes flowing down

At the cross at the cross
I surrender my life
I’m in awe of You I’m in awe of You
Where Your love ran red and my sin washed white
I owe all to You I owe all to You

There’s a place
Where sin and shame are powerless
And there my heart
Has peace with God and forgiveness
Where all the love I’ve ever found
Comes like a flood comes flowing down

At the cross at the cross
I surrender my life
I’m in awe of You I’m in awe of You
Where Your love ran red and my sin washed white
I owe all to You I owe all to You

Here my hope is found
Here on holy ground
Here I bow down here I bow down
Here arms open wide
Here You saved my life
Here I bow down here I bow

At the cross at the cross
I surrender my life
I’m in awe of You I’m in awe of You
Where Your love ran red and my sin washed white
I owe all to You I owe all to You

At the cross at the cross
I surrender my life
I’m in awe of You I’m in awe of You
Where Your love ran red and my sin washed white
I owe all to You I owe all to You
I owe all to You I owe all to You Jesus

Rock of Ages

Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
let me hide myself in Thee
Let the water and the blood,
from Thy riven side which flowed
Be of sin the double cure;
Cleanse me from its guilt and pow’r.

Not the labors of my hands,
can fulfill Thy law’s demands
Could my zeal no respite know,
could my tears forever flow
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.

Nothing in my hand I bring,
simply to the cross I cling
Naked, come to Thee for dress;
helpless, look to Thee for grace
Foul, I to the fountain fly;
wash me, Savior, or I die.

While I draw this fleeting breath,
when mine eyes shall close in death
When I soar to worlds unknown,
see Thee on Thy judgment throne
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
let me hide myself in Thee.
