Today was Day 4 of English Camp here in Mexico City. We started the day with a lot of preparation for the day. Between sorting and distributing all types of beans for our bean art craft to inflating and tying balloons for our balloon stomp game, we had plenty of opportunities to bond and connect as a team.
Today was our best turnout so far. We had a total of 78 children in attendance. We do expect this number to be less on Friday due to it being the weekend and parents usually have other plans. We are very thankful for the great attenence we have had throughout the week. Though on day one the numbers were kind of discouraging, the attendance grew tremendously over the next couple of days.
Throughout this entire week, the most encouraging part has been getting to know the people. It has been so encouraging to get to meet fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as well as to get to form relationships with the local children that will have lasting impacts on both us and them.
