Sermons on Evangelism
No follower of Jesus can be healthy in his or her walk with God without a healthy connection to the local church.
What matters is not where you are sent, but that you are ready.
Life in Christ brings trials and hardships, but Jesus promises deliverance to those who persevere. All believers should expect hardships, and we must examine ourselves to know whether we are prepared for the path that awaits us.
Jesus’ call for us to witness to His Gospel is the BEST expression of compassion for broken people that we can ever find. But without sound teaching, no disciple will obey Jesus.
When you make your plan for the day or the week ahead of you, does Jesus order your steps? Do you consciously say, “Lord, I am your servant. Show me what you want me to put on my list?”
If we are in Christ, we may be faithful or unfaithful, but we are ambassadors for Christ. And as ambassadors, we do not make up our own message; we do not have our own words to speak. We are given a message by the One who sent us.
