Nothing is more vital to the joy of our souls than for us to learn how to listen to God through His Word and to talk with God in prayer. We must not yield to discouragement, doubt, or delay. Pray and keep on praying. God hears us!
God did not create marriage mainly for the joy of sex, or for procreation, or for companionship, or for personal fulfillment. Those are all intended benefits of marriage, but God created marriage so that we would find our great pleasure in proclaiming the glory of God through it.
We worship God by rejoicing in His design and His instructions for marriage. Our worship of God is broken when we resist His design and instructions for marriage.
When we see greatness, we naturally will give voice to joyful praise. When we truly know God, our joy erupts in praise to God.
God cares deeply about the pain of our suffering, and it shouldn’t happen in silence. The Bible gives us a channel to express the trials we experience.
The difference between people with faith and those without is night and day; people of faith live with spiritual clarity about the future and encourage one another in spiritual community.
Life in Christ brings trials and hardships, but Jesus promises deliverance to those who persevere. All believers should expect hardships, and we must examine ourselves to know whether we are prepared for the path that awaits us.
Jesus’ call for us to witness to His Gospel is the BEST expression of compassion for broken people that we can ever find. But without sound teaching, no disciple will obey Jesus.
