Stirring Up Love through Shepherding

Every church is still in process of becoming what it one day will be. Our Lord Jesus created her, gifts her, leads her, builds her, blesses her and will ultimately perfect her. And He has given spiritual leaders a sacred responsibility to stir up love in the church through shepherding God’s people.

A Pastor’s Concerns

No one can serve God powerfully who does not love Jesus’ church fervently. This may be shocking to some because such love keeps us from merely accomplishing tasks in place of true ministry. Love for God always joins us with a love for His church and this becomes the driving motivation and the power within us to serve in such a way as to be fruitful.
