This summer’s Olympics provided ample reasons for American fans of sport to rejoice and to celebrate. So many images fill my mind as I think about these past Olympics for Michael Phelps. Amazing eight gold medals to the women gymnasts, overcoming adversity to the drama of the tragedy to triumph.
