Close Encounters with Christ
The Christian’s entire life rests upon Jesus’ real bodily resurrection from the dead. Our security does not depend upon us, but on Him who promised to keep us. His resurrection guarantees that He is able.

The story of Barabbas and the angry mob demonstrates how quick we are to follow the crowd and discard God. But in Jesus’ cross, we are free from the punishment and condemnation we deserve.
If we seek man’s approval, we will never find God. The desire to please people will keep us from God’s grace offered in Jesus.
