Sermons on Romans 12
Overcoming Evil with Good
Devotion to God leads us to overcome evil with good. Satan’s strongest temptations to destroy our soul strike us when we are hurt. Pain caused by others is always a time of intense spiritual warfare against sin in our own hearts.
Loving One Another in God’s Family
Devotion to God leads us to love one another in God’s family. A life devoted to God is a life devoted to building genuine love in the community of our local church.
Using Our Spiritual Gifts
Devotion to God leads us to use our spiritual gifts. Christianity is not a lone wolf religion. We are bound together in God’s family to serve Him uniquely as we join our gifts together to worship our great God.
Stirring Up Love through Christian Ministry
God gives His church a mission to fulfill and spiritually gifts each member of His church to serve in ministry together as a church for the sake of His Name. We would never have become a Christian without Jesus’ church, and it serves that we will only grow in our faith and worship of God if we joyfully embrace the central place of the church in our lives.
Be Transformed!
Grace that does not transform our lives on the outside and the inside is not the grace of God received through faith in Jesus. It is a weak and worldly “grace” that does not deliver us from sin and death. Give all your body and mind to the worship of God. Leave nothing for yourself, but trust God to give you infinitely more that you can imagine.
A Living Sacrifice
Give all your body and mind to the worship of God. Leave nothing for yourself, but trust God to give you infinitely more that you can imagine.
Our Spiritual Worship
Give all your body and mind to the worship of God. Leave nothing for yourself, but trust God to give you infinitely more that you can imagine.
