Christians are called to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.
And as a church, we are committed to encouraging, sending and supporting people who are called by God to carry out the Great Commission – locally, nationally, and internationally.
Bethany Baptist Church partners with several individuals and families across the globe as they share the Gospel, plant churches and teach people groups about the hope of Christ. But missions is about more than simply offering financial support to these partners. That's why we send multiple teams each year to serve alongside our Global Outreach partners on short-term trips (GO Teams). We also work to connect our church family with local missions opportunities, like volunteering at Peoria Rescue Mission, the South Side Mission, and more. In addition, we prepare new leaders to be sent out into full-time work of spreading the Gospel through our nurture program.
