On Thursday evening, after a long day of travel, our team finally landed in Mexico city. We then received a warm welcome from Sam and Jamie Hornbrook at the airport. As the evening went on we continued to the Hornbrooks house where we introduced ourselves and had a late dinner.
On Friday we began to become more acquainted with our new environment. We enjoyed a trip to the Teotihuacan pyramids which is about an hour outside of Mexico City. While we where there, Sam informed us about some of Mexico’s history from before the Spaniards arrived in the land.
