Ladies’ Bible Studies

Ladies’ Bible Studies

Throughout the year, Bethany offers ongoing and short-term Ladies’ Bible Studies that meet at various times throughout the week. We have morning, afternoon and evening classes. Several options are available for you to study God’s Word. We have classes that meet in person at Bethany, online classes you take with a group of ladies, or independent studies you can do on your own time.

Need childcare? Onsite childcare is offered during the Thursday morning studies. For other options, or if you have questions, please contact the office at 692-1755 or email dianna@bethanycentral.org.

What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? Matthew’s gospel opens with three chapters containing Jesus’ longest recorded message – a sermon given to His disciples early in His ministry to articulate what the life of a Christ-follower would look like, asking us the same questions it posed to its original hearers: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak, and act? In this study, examine the words of Jesus in-depth as He challenges us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification.

Romans, Part 2

Precept Upon Precept Inductive Study – Freed From Sin’s Power. Free from the guilt and power of sin, but what about the flesh? Discover how justification by faith relates to day by day living through the Holy Spirit’s power – the amazing process of sanctification (Romans 6-8).

God of Freedom

Book: by Jen Wilkin
Cost: Book $22 if signed up by January 20
After Jan. 20, purchase book on your own.
Book includes streaming access

In this 10-session study of Exodus 19–40, journey through the story of how God shepherds His newly-liberated children into an understanding of what their freedom means: lives consecrated for service to God and to one another. Revisit familiar scenes of the giving of the Ten Commandments, the idolatrous worship of a golden calf, and of the intricate details of the tabernacle. And with fresh perspective, ask what these stories teach God’s children today about how to live as those set free.
