Bethany’s ministries for adults exist to glorify God by equipping and encouraging believers toward Christian maturity in all areas of their lives (James 1:4).
There are many ways to be involved in the ministries at Bethany. If you are looking to grow in your walk with the Lord and with other believers, then you are looking in the right place.
Bethany’s Adult Bible Communities (ABC’s) focus on prayer, teaching God’s Word, discipleship, and serving in the church. As the Sunday school ministry for adults, our aim is to apply God’s word to life’s circumstances in a cross-generational, discipleship-focused environment (Heb. 10:24-25). ABC’s meet on Sunday mornings during either service.
Bethany’s small groups provide opportunities to develop deep biblical friendships (Rom. 12:10). Our groups are home-based, with six or more adults, and seek to build caring, faith-sustaining, lasting relationships marked by transparency in relation to life’s challenges and struggles.
Bethany’s adult Bible Studies equip believers with the truth that God’s Word is completely sufficient in every area of life (2 Tim 3:16-17). Various studies for men and women are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Studying the principles of God’s Word with other adults can be a special time of learning and blessing. Grow with us as we learn together from God’s Word, commune together in prayer, and fellowship together.
The Women’s Ministry at Bethany Baptist Church provides many opportunities for the ladies of our church to connect with one another and grow in faith together. Whether you are just out of high school, a grandmother, or somewhere in between, we would love to help you develop friendships with other women in our church.
Our Men’s Ministry seeks to encourage men to grow in their relationship with Christ, and to become servant leaders in the church, the home, and in the community.
The Bethany college class encourages college-age believers towards greater satisfaction and joy in Christ (1 Tim. 4:12; 2 Tim. 2:22). This ministry gives young adults the chance to get involved in the local church, experience discipleship, and connect with other college students.
MOMents is open to all mothers whose youngest child is kindergarten or younger. MOMents meets every other Friday from 9-11 a.m. during the school year. Meetings consist of a creative activity, door prizes, an encouraging speaker, and small group discussion time, all oriented toward knowing and living out faith in Jesus Christ.
The Prime Time ministry at Bethany promotes fellowship among seniors and provides helpful information for those 55 years old and above.
