Baptism

Declare it publicly

Baptism is a public declaration that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of your life.

After you place your faith in Jesus your next step is to publicly declare that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. In God's word this often happens almost immediately after a person gets saved. But what is always clear is that it is a step of obedience to Jesus and a way of letting friends and family know that you are now and forever a Christ-follower.

At Bethany it is our desire to talk to you and work with you through this process to.

How does Baptism work at Bethany?

1

Prepare a Testimony

Prepare a written testimony that you email or send to us. This is your opportunity to talk about what Jesus has done in your life and how Jesus has changed you. You'll be given the chance to read this during your baptism.
2

Meet with a Staff Member

We then have you meet with a Pastor or someone from our ministry staff. This meeting is to help guide you through the process and to make sure you have a solid understanding of your faith in Jesus.
3

Schedule Your Baptism

We'll work with you to find a time for your baptism during one of our normal services or at one of our special services such as Good Friday or during our Summer Celebration service.
