Sunday Worship 9:00 & 10:30 am

What to Expect

Sunday mornings are a joyful expression of worship with the gathered church.

Our Sunday worship services open with a welcome and announcements from one of our leaders. The worship team then leads us as we sing for about 20 minutes. The music is a blend of modern and traditional songs, typically led by a band with guitars, piano, drums and other musicians. After the congregational singing, an elder leads the church in a time of prayer for the church and our community, and also to prepare our hearts to receive the message from our pastor. Our pastors teach verse-by-verse sermons through the Bible, and you can expect about a 45 minute sermon each week. After preaching, we close with a prayer and closing song.

 What about my kids?

• Nursery (0-to-2yrs) is available during both services.
• Sunday School is available for 3-year-olds through high schoolers during the 9:00am service.
• Children’s Church is available for PreK – 5th grade students during the 10:30am service.

Communion

We celebrate communion on the 1st & 3rd Sundays each month during our worship services. You do not need to be a member of Bethany to participate in communion, but we do ask that only those who have professed faith in Christ partake in communion. Communion elements are available on a self-serve table as you enter the sanctuary for worship (we do not distribute the elements during the worship service, so be sure to grab these on your way in!).

Offering

For those that consider Bethany their church home, we encourage online giving, and also to make use of the giving boxes near the sanctuary doors in order to give by check or cash. We do not pass an offering plate during the service.

Do I need to worry about what to wear?

Each one of us is a creation of God with unique tastes and preferences. You’ll find that people dress in a variety of clothing styles at Bethany, from casual to formal. Come dressed in a way that makes you comfortable!

When should I arrive?

We start services right on time, so plan to arrive about 15 minutes early.  This will give you plenty of time to park, check in your kids to children’s ministry, find your seat, and prepare for worship.
