AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed)

AWANA is a dynamic ministry that begins after Labor Day and ends in May. The name AWANA is an acronym for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed,” which is taken from 2 Tim. 2:15.

The purpose of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Each club night consists of Council, Handbook, and Game time with the club groups (Cubbies, Sparks, Truth & Training) divided according to age. We currently have almost 300 children enrolled and more than 140 faithful adults serve Christ through AWANA each week.
