Jerry has attended
Bethany since January of 2001, became involved in AWANA in 2001. He became AWANA commander in 2003 and an Elder in May 2004. Jerry recently came on staff in January of 2007. He is originally from St. Louis, Mo. moving to
Peoria in 2000. Before serving on staff he worked for the
Rainbow
Resource
Center, a home-school book company. While in
St. Louis he worked as a Director in Information Systems at Continental Baking and then Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He serves as Minister of Children’s Discipleship and oversees the Family Ministries.
He has been married to Karen since June 28, 1986 and they have three children: Zachary(19) in college and Jordan(17) and Tori(8) who are home-schooled.

Movie: Facing the Giants, Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Yankee Doodle Dandy
Restaurant: Nothing beats Karen’s cooking but her and I like Olive Garden
Food: I like all food a lot, except sushi
Ice Cream: Yes, anytime!
Sport: Team Policy Debate preferably with a domestic resolution, also Baseball- when
St. Louis is winning

St. Louis Cardinals (they actually win pennants and World Series titles)
Song: Rise Up O Men of God, Tradition (from Fiddler on the Roof)
Junk Food: See Ice Cream
Childhood Memory: Getting bitten by a dog that then could not be located so I had to have rabies shots every day in my stomach for 14 days. Also, riding my bike one day and having the frame break right in two which left me standing holding the handle bars with a wheel dangling underneath.
