Joey has attended Bethany since February of 2002 and came on staff in May of 2004. He is originally from Indianapolis, IN. Before serving on staff he worked for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He serves as the main youth minister and teaches Sr. High Sunday School and Wednesday nights, equips youth and student leaders, gives oversight to the Jr. High youth ministry, and serves as the Sports Director. In the spring of 2005 he began pursuing his master's of ministry degree from Moody Bible Institute.
He has been married to Kari since June 28, 2003 and they have two children: Tyler, who was born May 3, 2006, and Luke, who was born July 2, 2009.
